Back in the days when Germany was divided, a huge wall separated both the East and West Berlin. One day, some people in East Berlin took a truck load of garbage and dumped it on the West Berlin side. The people of West Berlin could have done the same thing, but they didn’t. Instead, they took a truck load of canned goods, bread, milk and other provisions, and neatly stacked it on the East Berlin side. On top of this stack they placed the sign: “EACH ONE GIVES WHAT HE HAS”!

Let me ask every married couple, “YES, your partner has wronged you-but what are you dumping in your marriage, after he has dumped his or her garbage on you? is it garbage or caned truckload of bread, milk and other provisions? He may have abused you, but must you abuse him back? She may have left you for another man, but must you send abusive texts to her phone? must you dump garbage, when someone has dumped the same to you? Its always good to dump love where hate exists. Dump forgiveness to those who cant forgive you for the wrongs they did to them.

Your boyfriend may have left you with a baby ,but what are you dumping on him….garbage or are you ready to raise the child, with God’s help, yet with full assurance in your heart, that even if you will not go back to him, you have forgiven him? You have no right to go around sulking because of a man who left you two yrs ago…..stop the bitterness…forgive and move on with life as though nothing happened. Commit all to God and let him handle it for you. The devil likes it when he sees you unhappy and boiling from inside, after someone has dumped garbage in your compound or next to your wall..

He wants you to revenge or payback, but God says we are not supposed to revenge. It’s clear from the scriptures, for God says, “I will take revenge, I will pay them back. In due time their feet will slip. Their day of disaster will arrive, and their destiny will overtake them.'[Deuteronomy 32:35]. No one goes away from the wrongs they do to you. God wants you to forgive them, but you have to let him deal with them.

What most of us don’t know is that God is concerned about you so much to care, and when a truck of garbage is dumped at your doorsteps, please go back in love, and dump love, care, forgiveness, submissiveness and compassion. Anyone rotting in his heart can do anything and say anything to you.It shows how filthy he is but as a son and daughter of the most high, that is not our portion. We have the love of Christ in our hearts. We can only give what we have received from Christ…our care…our compassion…our friendship–our prayers for them and give them food, when they are hungry, without looking at the past mistakes before helping them. Never dump garbage after he has done the same to you. Evil is never re-payed with evil, but good is the best payment for the evil people do to you and me.

The conclusion of this matters is simple,” Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud,but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Finally, do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone, and If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. do not take revenge, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, we are commanded to feed them, if they thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head “and God will reward you”[ Romans 12:13-19]

Now you know what to do, when someone dumps garbage at your door…Feed him with love and dump canned foods, as a replacement of the garbage. God always prevails everywhere and if you do good, God will reward you for the good you do,and repay them for the evil they did,if they don’t repent. That is enough for now. God bless you
