DO NOT SEEK REVENGE

Have you heard some believers, when pushed to the wall by their worldly friends say” Watch out, I will put my bible down and deal with you! My question has always been, suppose you die in the process, while your bible is still down? What will you tell the Lord when you finally realize, you are a member of hell just because you didn’t surrender all to the Lord!
In the Old Testament, Moses instructed God’s people “Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD. (Leviticus 19:18). He repeated the same command in Deuteronomy 32:35.He said” It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them.”
My dear brothers and sisters, God has catered for you in every area of life, including your security because of those who push you to the wall with intentions of provoking you to anger so that you may react badly !He knows the limits that someone should stretch and how far he should not go,s o anything beyond that ,it’s your duty to cry to the Lord for help. He has systems in place to deal with such circumstances and you don’t need to put your bible down to counter the enemy !No way, trust the Lord and surrender all to him. He cares about you and he loves you so much to care as much!

Saint of God, In the book of Romans, Paul’s word to the believers was that we should “Bless those who persecute us; HE THEN WARNS “bless and do not curse.
He continues………”Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary: If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head. ”Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good the same (Romans 12:15-21)
May God help you and me
